• A Chapel Service at Cornerstone School

  I was blessed last week with a great time at Cornerstone School on the east side of Detroit in a facility that was once the Lutheran School for the Deaf. It was years ago, I visited the Lutheran School for the Deaf and was very impacted by the work they were doing there. Now the property is in the hands of Cornerstone Schools which is doing a wonderful job on this campus and others educating inner-city youth. The school has a very interesting history and springs from the vision of Cardinal Adam Miada of the Roman Catholic Church and Clark Durant who is a Detroit attorney with a wonderful history of community service. 
   
  I was invited to speak at the Middle School Chapel Service again and this time I bought portraits of three presidents and presented their faith centered language in various speeches.  They heard the words of George Washington and even Thomas Jefferson, that the ACLU claims so quickly as the champion of throwing everything referring to a Creator God from the Public Square. I also shared from various quotations from Abraham Lincoln.
